Hi! My name is Anna. I have always loved the home arts since I was small, and I found myself sitting on the floor, using the scraps that fell from my mother’s sewing table to teach myself to sew. My mom gave me a needle and thread, and I took it from there. I now make slipcovers, curtains, bedding, and more. Over the years, I have also expanded into other home arts and love to cook, garden, decorate, and create a place of restful beauty for everyone. My cottage-themed garden is a special place where I spend a lot of time.
Reading is another longtime passion of mine and is one of the most important tools available to a writer. I often share books I am reading in the journal. Having a degree in history, I continue to study it and incorporate it in small ways in this journal. I also love studying God’s word every day and sharing what He has done.
