Easter Glam Tablescape

Easter Glam Tablescape

This year I am glamming up the Easter decor. Usually, I aim for more whimsical and rustic when it comes to Easter; however, since I recently came into the family china, a break with tradition for this rose pink and pearly Easter Glam Tablescape sounded fun. While the china is a simple, scalloped white Johnson Brothers pattern thoughts of an updated table with faux fur and pearly textures came to mind. I also wanted a more streamlined look with less objects to highlight the glam parts. Walk around the table with me for a look.

Heirloom china was the original inspiration for this. A mix of old and new is always best because it ties in the traditions of the past while staying relevant in the now. Thankfully, the china is a basic pattern that will get used. Notice how elegant and simple it is? Additionally, are the sweet vintage glasses that came with the china as well.

The table runner is actually a faux fur accent rug that I grabbed up at a home discount store. It was just the right shape, size, and color for this Easter look. To be clear, this is not a rug that has been used as a rug- lol!

You might notice there are no placemats or chargers on this table. That is to play up the simplicity of the look. More was not going to be better here.

pearl napkin ring

The napkin rings were an inexpensive and elegant find. And their simple large pearl look was just right in this tablescape. You can find them here.

For a simple centerpiece I opted for several smaller faux floral pieces. Several square vases with faux roses sit on the runner.

pearl eggs

If you take a close look at the eggs you will see that they are pearly. This is easy to do and you can find the tutorial right here. The tutorial uses dyed eggs, but for a pearly look I used non-dyed eggs. The eggs looked like large oblong pearls and are lovely.

Large, rose pink satin bows are tied on the back of each chair.

sparkling dummies

And for the final touch a couple of porcelain Easter bunny candy dishes. One with Rosé jellybeans and the other with sparkling gummies. All very glam!
