Green on Green Christmas Table
Green on Green Christmas Table. December 19, 2023.
A new color scheme has emerged for the holiday season that I gravitated towards for this Christmas table. It is a green-on-green Christmas table which is unique but very attractive. Analogous color schemes can be fun and attractive, and I liked the idea of layering greens. Furthermore, since moving into Hidden Bluff I have been migrating away from traditional Christmas color schemes into ones that go with our standard, non-holiday pink and green house decor. This keeps things a lot simpler, and I love it! And as green is my favorite neutral by far, so this look appeals to me. It’s also new and fresh which I love! It wasn’t hard to do with standard cedar garlands and a few faux hydrangeas. Simple and elegant.
These vintage green faux dried hydrangeas play well with the cedar garland wreath and bright olive-green velvet ribbon I got here.
For contrast vintage candlestick holders in a variety of styles are put in the middle.
These gorgeous green toile napkins are my favorite! They were a clearance sale find this last year and worked perfectly in this look. Antique-look curtain clips act as napkin holders here.
The white and gold chargers I have featured before came out. I got the chargers here. Old Johnson Brothers dishes are a wonderful vintage basic that are layered with the chargers.
My favorite holiday gold flatware is part of this look of course!
Have a beautiful day!
