Spring Table Decor at Hidden Bluff 2023
“That is one good thing about this world… There are always sure to be more springs.”

Spring Table Decor at Hidden Bluff 2023. March 19, 2023.
Our roses give me a thrill. They have become the theme flower at Hidden Bluff. Between you and me I spend a good bit of time looking at roses online and have also joined an online rose group. It was comforting to me to learn I wasn’t the only one who had a passion for roses. There is a lot of hilarity in our group over our shared addiction as well as lots of advice for this next year. Additionally, new rose bushes will begin to arrive shortly adding to the rose garden. I look forward to all the new blooms this year and sharing them with fellow rose lovers!
Not only are roses my mascot, but they are also inspiring the Spring decor in the home. The cottage home style is always warm and inviting with floral accents. And so, I am keeping the decor simple with a focus on roses and natural textures. As you can see, the featured Easter table I am working on uses natural items such as linen napkins, wooden candlesticks, and a rose arrangement. There will be real roses and ivy for Easter, but for now I am using faux roses and ivy as a centerpiece for Spring. Yes, I know roses are really a summer flower, but I am still going to use them for the Spring and Easter decor.

A simple cotton ruffle table runner starts the look. After that the centerpiece of roses and ivy set the stage for the table.
These sweet green rabbit toile plates were a find at a local discount store. They are so sweet!
For Spring charm, I paired the Old Country Roses China with these new salad plates. Mix and match China is ideal for cottage style. Old and new.
Furthermore, these mini cabbage appetizer plates are used for bread plates, matching the look in this tablescape.
This bird appetizer dish and dip dish set is adorable!
My cabbage bowl came out and paired with these gorgeous napkins found at Rachel Parcell. These napkins couldn’t announce Spring any better! Likely I will use these for decor on the food table to line bowls and such.
Linen napkins are a favorite of mine and are a great basic to have. I found some lovely, cottage chic, linen ruffle napkins in off-white on Etsy. When paired with these water hyacinth napkin holders they have a frilly loveliness that reminds me of kale and lettuce leaves.
And they can be made up ahead of time to keep things simple the day of Easter.
These are what I am using with the place settings along with our holiday gold flatware and vintage glasses.
Just a few well-chosen basics are all you need for an inviting and cozy Easter table! And even though trends are fun I try to focus on basics more than trends for my decor stash. This is because good basics make decor a lot easier. And of course roses will never go out of style!
Have a beautiful day!

Which website in Etsy did you order your off white linen ruffle napkins from?
Sadly, the Etsy store I purchased the napkins at is no longer selling on Etsy. However, AlexanderTaPearl on Etsy sells ruffle linen blend napkins that look cute. There are other stores as well if you use the search term “ruffle linen napkins”. I hope this helps! Best, Anna
