Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup clean honeysuckle blossoms *make sure it is an edible honeysuckle such as the European honeysuckle. Also, only use the blossoms and nectar of the honeysuckle plant.
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small pot.
- Using medium-low heat, warm mixture just until sugar dissolves. Don't boil or stew.
- Remove syrup from heat and strain blossoms.
- Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
- Flavor is best if used within a few days.
