Honeysuckle Syrup

The cottage garden favorite is also an edible!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup clean honeysuckle blossoms

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a small pot.
  • Using medium-low heat, warm mixture just until sugar dissolves. Don't boil or stew.
  • Remove syrup from heat and strain blossoms.
  • Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
  • Flavor is best if used within a few days.
