Pear Brie and Bacon Grilled Sandwich with Fig Preserves
A hearty autumn take on grilled cheese

Ingredients
Rustic whole grain bread
Brie cheese
Pear slices
Cooked bacon slices
My favorite method of cooking bacon is on parchment paper in the oven on low broil!
Fig preserves
Butter
Instructions
Butter one side each of 2 slices of bread.
On the butterless side of one slice spread fig preserves.
Add pear slices, brie cheese and 2 slices of bacon.
Grilled in a skillet over medium- medium low heat. This will give the cheese time to melt while the outside browns nicely.
Enjoy sandwich!
Notes
*White cheddar is also good with this!
