A Spring Green Table
I am a pink girl and always will be. Pink has been my favorite color since I saw my school friend’s bubblegum pink painted bedroom. It was love at first sight. Unfortunately, there was no pink bedroom for me growing up, but in my adult years I was able to indulge my pinkness. I didn’t take things too far, however, because neither am I a one-track mind. Pink is used as an accent color in our decor. Green is my second favorite color and always plays into my decor- always. Green is my neutral. It is my grounding color with its natural, tranquil vibes. It is a color that works all year round in different shades and hues. Green reigns supreme in decor. And while many, many shades of green are beautiful my favorite is a cooler, sage/eucalyptus green. To celebrate Spring, I am sharing a Spring Green table today. Enjoy!
A Spring Green Table
Checks are a classic pattern that never go out of style, so when I saw these placemats, I picked them up. Sage green checked placemats are perfect for Spring or any time of year.
The placemats led to the centerpiece which I specifically wanted to be herbaceous. Since it is Spring and herbs are at their best, I wanted to have a centerpiece using these faux sage leaves from my supply of faux flowers. Putting them in a woven basket for a centerpiece was perfect. A variety of textures in decor adds interest and wovens are always classic for adding a rustic/international look.
Plates are layered with simple, sleek white china as well as vintage scalloped white china.
And for the napkins I folded them into pockets and tucked a sprig of faux sage in each.
And finally, the vintage beaded glasses came out and are filled with Sparkling Lime Mint Punch. This is the perfect Spring green punch with its crisp taste and fresh mint leaves. Plus, it is a pretty shade of green to match the table.
Such a sweet and simple table to celebrate Spring!
