The Week before Thanksgiving RoundUp of Ideas

It’s the week before Thanksgiving, and I wanted to share a roundup of ideas to keep you inspired! This year I am especially thankful for our blessings. It’s been a rough year as parents who are in a new season. For years I was a stay at home mom and now the parental role is changing a lot the last couple of years with our kids in college. To be honest, I’ve had a tough time coping. Thankfully, I have my work to pour into right now while adjusting. A big part of what helps me adjust is helping other people to enjoy beauty in their lives, so this blog is one of the ways I do that. When my kids were little before, I dropped them off at school I would say a little prayer with them to “let their light shine”, and now it’s my turn.

The home is a big part of where my light shines and the holidays is where it really comes out. So, with Thanksgiving upon us I am thinking of how grateful I am for my life as I make our home festive and cozy. Since we have come through so much and have a beautiful family and home, I make sure to thank God regularly for our blessings and to share them with others. It might seem strange but decorating and cooking to celebrate the season are a part of how I show thankfulness. Today I want to share a few posts from the last month that I hope will help and inspire you.

With one week to go many people are working on menus and shopping lists for the big day. Sometimes people need last minute ideas and help. And some people need easy ideas. So, to make things easy I’ve shared a few ideas in one post here. All the recipes are easy, tasty, and pretty. There are also some trending decor ideas for your own tablescape at home.
