DIY Feather Wreath
Today’s project has to be one of the easiest DIYs I have every done and it requires only 2 items! The end result is a gorgeous and full feather wreath to hang in your home. I adore feather wreaths and find them charming in decor. They give the room a fancy, yet rustic appeal which fits right in with cottage, farmhouse, and French country decor styles. They are especially lovely when kept simple with a great big bow which is all I did for my wreath. Of course you can make this wreath in different colors, but white or cream makes it more versatile in decor. I used cream boas to match the color palette of our home. And they are so easy to make! You do not need glue, wire, or even tape to make this fluffy DIY feather wreath. All you need are boas and a wreath form and about 10 minutes.
Fluffy DIY Feather Wreath
3 feather boas (I used these fluffy boas here, so depending on the boas you use the number needed may vary)
1 16 in. styrofoam wreath form
Take one feather boas and begin wrapping it tightly around the wreath form. Be careful not to wrap too tightly because you want to be able to tuck in loose ends.
When you reach the end of the feather boa grab another and begin by laying the beginning of your new boa on the end of the first one. Wrap the second boa around the end of the first boa to secure loose end in place.
Continue wrapping. When you get to the end of the second boa do the same thing with the third boa, wrapping the beginning around the end tail of the previous boa. When you reach the end of the third boa tuck in the loose end.
There you are- done! Trim your wreath as desired and find a place to hang it!
Have a beautiful day!
