Fall Tablescape Ideas for your Home
Yesterday, I spent a lovely, golden afternoon strolling in a tiny Japanese park with my best friend. Sipping our pumpkin spice lattes, we discussed life, middle age, and more. As I get older, I realize how critical having times like these is. This year has taught to appreciate life more and to treasure the little moments like never before. Consequently, celebrating each day of this autumnal season takes on new meaning. My husband has always said throughout our marriage, “it’s about the little things” and he is right. Little things like a pumpkin spice latte and stroll with your bff or making the home more special for the season. Dining at home in style in another way to enjoy life’s little moments. I have always believed in making dining special. So today, I wanted to share this fall tablescape at SomeTyme Place with you.

Fall Tablescape Ideas for your home
For this look I drew on the new addition of wheat in my fall décor as well as other more natural and neutral color elements. Woven placemats worked for this look and became the base for the rest.
Sleek white dishes keep the look simpler and more minimalistic. These are some of my favorite dishes because they are simple and elegant. Golden chargers underneath play on the golden colors of the season and the golden wheat.
White pumpkins are featured of course! White pumpkins are such a staple in my fall décor because they work so well with the palette in our home. Mini white pumpkins sit on either end of the centerpiece here.
Pieces like this carved wooden dish are so versatile! Normally, this sits in my living room and is filled with aromatic botanical filler, but here it gets repurposed into a natural breadbasket which also acts as the centerpiece. It is lined with one of the woven napkins used in this look.
Woven napkins in cool green were brought out to keep the natural look going. Its fringed edges keep things informal.
And wheat is used a couple of ways. Wheat is trending in décor right now, but I did not want a centerpiece with it that blocked the view across the table, so I took a different approach. You will notice the individual stalks of wheat laying on the table to help fill out the look. But my favorite part of this was using a single stalk of wheat tied with natural twine on each fringed napkin.
