Hot Pumpkin Buttered Rum
Hot Buttered Rum drinks are popular in the fall and this SomeTyme Place Creamy Spicy Hot Buttered Rum recipe here is seeing a lot of visits right now. It is also the season for all things pumpkin and guess what? I have a pumpkin version of this drink for you today. Pumpkin was a natural accompaniment to this drink, but my concern was the fat-based butter blending with the water-based pumpkin. Additionally, I had concern about how well the drink itself would come out. Pumpkin bits floating around the top of the drink was not going to work. Thankfully, there were no issues when I made this. The batter came together beautifully and the drink itself was perfect. Furthermore, my husband loves the hot pumpkin buttered rum version even better than the regular because he adores pumpkin pie.
This golden orange drink is nice and pumpkin-y, creamy, spicy, and good, and it is the perfect autumn drink. Enjoy it on a chilly day with a loved one.
