Rosy Earl Gray Latte

A botanical spin on the tea latte for those who like some rose in their life!

Equipment

  • espresso machine with milk steamer *optional, but helpful

Ingredients

  • 6 oz hot steamed whole milk* (about 2/3 cup)
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1 tbsp. rosewater
  • simple syrup

Instructions

  • Pour your hot, steamed milk* into a mug, add your tea bag(s), and let it sit for a few minutes.
  • Add 1 tbsp. of rosewater and simple syrup to taste.
  • Enjoy!

Alternate Method using an Espresso Maker

  • Run two teaspoons of loose Earl Grey tea through your espresso maker in two shots, as you would with ground espresso coffee.
  • Make your steamed milk as normal.
  • Add the tea shots to the steamed milk along with rosewater and simple syrup.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

*Either steam your milk till hot and frothy using the steamer on an espresso maker, or heat it on the stove till hot, but not quite simmering.
