A Very Christmas Tablescape
My late Aunt’s dishes will come out for Christmas like they do every year. And every year I try to celebrate them a little differently. This year I played up the holly berry theme on the dishes with evergreen accents that you can see in the photos below. Keep reading to see our very Christmas tablescape!

Matching napkins accompany the dishes and are used in this tablescape. However, I did get some new dark green velvet placemats. These are versatile for future holidays. Additionally, the placemats have a sweet, quilted look that will hold their style for a while.
The tablecloth is an easy-wash, shimmery gold one. I adore beautiful table linens but admit that they can be difficult to keep nice. So, having easy-care linens is not a bad idea. Since Christmas is festive and often messy for us, I opted for easy.
My staple antique white, scalloped chargers are paired with the dishes. These chargers get a lot of mileage with their classic look, and they go with so many things!
To match the dark green placemats, I tied dark green velvet ribbon around the napkins. This is a simple and sweet look. However, if I am being honest I only did it because napkins rings that matched have yet to be found. Lol! I am patient and will wait till the perfect ones come along.
Down the middle of the table runs an adorable Rachel Ashwell Christmas holly runner. The minute I saw this it went into my cart. It was a perfect match to the dishes. And, on top of the runner is a holly garland paired with gold candlesticks and shimmering golf candles and that is it. Simple, right?
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed today’s post. Have a Christmas spirit-filled day!
