Christmas Coffee Table Books 2023

Christmas Coffee Table Books 2023.
Christmas wouldn’t be the same without coffee table books in my world. The colorful array of ideas in our living room, available for browsing at leisure, ignites the imagination and spirit. I am a shameless coffee table book addict, Christmas books especially. It started years ago at Goodwill when I began picking up Christmas with Southern Living books. Over time, I collected quite a few of them at bargain prices. There are several well-marked recipes I love referring to every Christmas. And it never hurts to look the book over again to see if some old idea can be recreated in a new way. Since then, my coffee table book collecting has expanded. Today, I am excited to share several new ones this year.

French Country Cottage by Courtney Allison is one I ordered a few months ago, the minute I saw it was coming out. As I have frequently mentioned, Courtney Allison is my favorite decorator, and her books are gorgeous! I have shared some of her books before and continue to do so. She has a genius for pairing rustic and formal elements in a modern, colorful new twist on French country. Candles, lights, flowers, fruits, foliage, and greens are prominent in her decor. And I like how she has clear, crisp focal points that stand out. Her liberal use of natural materials often sends me outside foraging for my own decor.

This next book, Tradition of Christmas, brought to you by the editors of Victoria, was also ordered months ago from Hoffman Media. It is Victoria’s annual Christmas book, featuring elegant Christmas decor ideas from around the world. Victoria fans will enjoy browsing this one.

My next book was an impulse buy: Advent by Kerstin Niehoff and Laura Fleiter, which was on sale. While it claims to be focused on Advent, it fails to mention why we truly celebrate Advent- my only complaint. Other than this, it is a lovely idea book, though with rustic and simple living inspiration, a counterculture movement that is really picking up steam, and one I am embracing in many ways myself.

And of course, any coffee book title with the words “Christmas” and “cottage” is a must. Christmas in the Cottage, brought to you by the editors of Cottage Journal, is another beautiful book with a focus on cottage Christmas decor, of course. This book takes you on a tour of various cottages at Christmas to admire the different styles and looks.
And last, but not least….

And the last book was a $5 steal on the Hoffman Media website this year, called Christmas Cottage Cookbook from the publishers of Cottage Magazine. This amazing sale is now over, and the book is back to $39.99. However, with Cyber Monday around the corner, who knows???? There are many appealing recipes, such as dark chocolate raspberry mousse cake and spinach, prosciutto, and roasted red pepper quiche. There is also plenty of cottage decor inspiration in this book.

Happy reading and have a beautiful day!
