Homemade Cranberry Peach Sauce

Cranberry sauce is indispensable at the holidays. Thanksgiving dinner just isn’t the same without that ruby colored dish of tangy, sweet berry preserves. I always put a good dollop of it on my plate to eat with the moist turkey, potatoes, and stuffing. And because I like it, it is also fun to experiment with cranberry sauce recipes. Lately, I have been on a peach kick, even though it isn’t the season for them. Peaches are such a nice, golden sweet fruit that pairs marvelously with so many things. Some peach slices were sitting in our freezer, and I had an idea to jazz up the cranberry sauce. The tart and tangy sweetness of cranberries would pair beautifully with chunks of sweet peaches for a new take on a favorite holiday condiment in this Homemade Cranberry Peach Sauce.

The results were delicious, and I wanted to share them with you for your own Thanksgiving inspiration. Cranberry sauce is already so easy to make and is a make-ahead item. And as this recipe uses White Peach Cranberry Juice, use the rest of the juice to make this holiday drink here, the White Peach Cranberry Spritzer.

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped fresh or frozen peaches (small chunks)
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup White Peach Cranberry Juice ( I used Ocean Spray brand)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and boil gently for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Turn off heat and remove sauce and let cool. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
- Ready to serve.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes
Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!

I used canned peaches, half the sugar(Splenda), and ocean spray cran-mango. Turned out superb.
Sounds wonderful! Best, Anna
