Make Vellum Candle Holders
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
Make Vellum Candle Holders. December 10, 2023.
If you are comfortable creating with clipart then today I have a fun and easy craft using a printer and vellum paper. If you’ve ever used vellum paper then you know that it’s the pretty, translucent, misty-looking sort of paper that makes you want to craft something right then and there. And as I have tons of clipart on my desktop and some vellum paper handy, I was able to easily create today’s lovely candle holders for a quick homemade holiday decor item.
The warm glow on these is so cozy and nice!
You can see in the photos this project works well with patterns and rows. A row of vintage houses in one and a row of trees in another. Snowflakes and snow would be another lovely pattern to use. Nativity clip art is another great idea for this project! And if you don’t have clip art then Creative Market and Etsy are both great places to get inexpensive clipart for personal use. *No affiliation with either of these places.
A last word of caution: this is paper after all, so don’t leave these untended with candles burning in them.
