Snow at SomeTyme Place

Snowing on the river just behind the house. Isn’t it lovely?

Mountain snow is one of the best things about SomeTyme Place, and snow came early this year! When I drove out this morning to do a final walk through/inspection before our current guests arrive, I was greeted with large, fluffy white flakes past Sandy. Driving up the mountain, it got a little heavier and was sticking. By the time I arrived at SomeTyme Place a nice layer of white was on the ground. December is early for snow in our village although not unexpected. Likely, this means the ski season a little further up the mountain will get going earlier. Occasionally, I will ski, but my real love is getting out the snowshoes and trekking around the village. There are also lots of other places to snowshoe as well!

You can stay at SomeTyme Place in Brightwood, Oregon (about 13 miles outside of Sandy, Oregon) by clicking here.
