Sparkling Lime Mint Punch (Mocktail)
Sparkling Lime Mint Punch. April 1, 2020.
Drinks are one of my favorite things to serve at a party or get together. Maybe because of all the years I’ve gone out for coffee dates or cocktails with family and friends. Many hours have been spent in deep conversation while nursing a coffee or cocktail. Among special memories of growing up was our family’s Saturday morning coffees at our local diner. This was a weekly event that I was willing to get up early on Saturday for- and I was a teenager! There’s something special about sitting around and slowly sipping a good beverage and just being in the moment. All around the world drinks are a traditional way to connect socially. And because I love all kinds of drinks, I created a new one for today. Today’s Sparkling Lime Mint Punch uses only 4 ingredients and is refreshing and crisp and sweet without being too sweet.
This punch is very reminiscent of a mojito only without the alcohol. It is a fresh and cheerful beverage and is a great addition to a party, event, brunch or holiday. Lime and mint are a favorite combination, so adding the mint made the drink fresh. Just make sure and rub the mint a bit before adding to release the essential oils in it. This will infuse the punch. It is best to make this punch right before serving.
Look for frozen limeade concentrate next to the frozen lemonade concentrate in the freezer section of your grocery store. This recipe is also very easily doubled, tripled, etc.
Sparkling Lime Mint Punch is the perfect Spring drink or Summer drink as well!
Sparkling Lime Mint Punch
Ingredients
- 1- 12 oz. can frozen, but softened limeade concentrate (regular-sized can in freezer section)
- cold club soda (I use about 1 liter)
- lime slices
- 2-3 fresh mint springs
Instructions
- Make limeade per instructions replacing water with club soda.
- Add limes slices and/or mint sprigs (optional). I don't go too heavy on lime slices or the punch gets too sour. Rub a few mint leaves to start releasing oils and put bruised mint leaves in punch.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Have a beautiful week!

I will be making this for Mothers day for my children and grandchildren. It sounds so refreshing and I love no additional sugar. I picked up a sweet mint plant to accompany it. Looking forward to trying!!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy! <3

Hi Anna,
Where do you find frozen limeade concentrate?
Hi Lisa! Many grocery stores have frozen limeade concentrate located in the frozen juices section (orange, lemonade, etc.). Hope this helps! Best, Anna
Thanks for sharing! Does it keep long?
Hi Vanessa! I have never had it last very long, but it should keep for a couple of days although the fizzy factor will dissipate. Also, you may want to strain out any lime slices and mint as if they sit longer than a day the drink can get rather sour. Thanks for stopping by! Best, Anna
This looks so good! What a fun drink to make for a shower!
Thank you! And yes, it is perfect for a shower! Best, Anna
How much mint per quart?
Hi Sue. I use about 1-2 good sprigs of mint per quart. If you like bruise the mint first to release the essential oils into the drink more quickly. Best, Anna
I love this limeade punch idea, but I’m having a hard time deciding on measurements if I make 3 gallons. The club soda comes in 2 liter bottles. Im not sure how many limeade cans to buy. I don’t want the punch to lack flavor or be overly sweet. Any suggestions?
Hi Vanessa. Thank you for taking the time to comment! What I love about this recipe is that it’s forgiving and easy to make to suit. My instinct for 3 gallons would be to make it as specified, but adjust for the 3 gal.making sure to have extra club soda/limeade on hand if adjustments are needed. Since a quart is roughly the same as a liter and there are 3.8 liters to a gallon I would buy 12 liters of club soda to start (you will have a bit more than 3 gallons of punch). I would then assume 12 regular sized cans of limeade (1 per quart/liter) to mix it with. Knowing myself I would buy extra of each in case the punch needed to be tweaked to my taste. I hope this helps and good luck with your punch making! Btw, this same recipe can be substituted with other juice concentrates and sodas. For example, fruit punch concentrate and 7-up. I like this version because it is not super sweet, but again, that is up to the discretion of who’s making it :). Best, Anna
This looks fantastic! I am a complete teetotaler so this is an exciting find for me. However, I would be making this for myself with one 12 ounce can of plain club soda at a time… Is there a way to cut it down to a much smaller batch? Since I would basically be drinking the whole batch all in one sitting?
Hi Corinne! Yes, this is easy enough to cut down. For a single can of club soda I would add frozen limeade concentrate to taste and keep the rest of the concentrate in the freezer for other times. If I had to guess you will need a couple tbsps. for a can of club soda, but I am sure you will come up with your own perfect ratio 🙂 And muddle in your drink a couple of bruised mint leaves. Hope this helps! Best, Anna
