So, I have selected a few new coffee table books that are gorgeous and motivating. Looking at the beautiful photography and helpful hints makes me want to go decor, cook, or arrange a new bouquet. Each of these books is just beautiful and well worth adding to your coffee table. They also very reasonably priced.

Color Me Floral by Kiana Underwood. I spent an evening drooling over her flower arrangements. They are just amazing with their unique and monochromatic compositions. Even better, she lists everything she uses, so I was making mental notes. She draws on all sorts of things for these gorgeous displays of nature such as persimmons, berries, tomatoes, leaves, and so much more. It opened up my eyes to using so much more than the traditional flowers for an arrangement.

French Country Cottage by Courtney Allison. This charming French decor book is one of two by this author I purchased without realizing it. Her style draws on a lovely combination of French influence with both vintage and modern touches not to mention some minimalism as well (a touch). Her style strikes a balance that is appealing. It is clear she is talented in decor and helps explains why I was drawn to two of her books without knowing it. I am now planning to purchase her third book.

French Country Cottage Inspired Gatherings by Courtney Allison. This elegant book focuses on French inspired gatherings as the title clearly says. This is another sweet book by a woman with a great sense of style. Hosting gatherings is something I love doing, so I picked up plenty of inspiration from her lovely ideas.

A Well-Kept Home: Household Traditions and Simple Secrets from a French Grandmother by Laura Fronty. Home keeping books always lure me. At heart I am such a domestic and love the home arts. And while I now run a small-business, home keeping is still high on my list. In this book you will read simple yet elegant ideas for running your household in the French way such as washing your delicates in ivy water. I am always fascinated with hearing the older generations of various cultures speak of their domestic arts. Things may change, but tradition still goes strong. And these days with the advent of the Grand Millennialism trend there is a return to more traditional methods.
