Fluffy Candy Cane Martini

When my brother comes over from Germany to visit, he and I like to have a late night martini and chat away. We will stay up late nursing our martinis while talking politics, philosophy, literature, etc. etc. He and I enjoy doing so in spite of the fact that we don’t always agree. In fact, we enjoy the mental sparring- lol! He is coming to visit again this Christmas, and I have a new martini to pull out for those late night chats. Today’s Fluffy Candy Cane Martini is perfect for the holiday season! I will say though it you don’t like martinis and prefer drinks where you can’t taste the alcohol then this is not the post for you. The Candy Cane Martini is sweet, rich, and delicious. However, you will taste vodka, so keep that in mind before plunging ahead.

These delicious after dinner drinks are reminiscent of a fluffy pink dessert I make for Christmas that has been in our family for years. Whip creamy, pepperminty dessert in a glass! You will need to make the homemade candy cane liqueur for this drink and you can find that recipe right here.

Fluffy Candy Cane Martini

Makes one Martini

1 oz. of Candy Cane Liqueur (recipe here)

1 oz. of chilled whipping cream vodka

1 oz. of Vanilla vodka

1 oz. of heavy whipping cream

Combine candy cane liqueur, whipping cream vodka, vanilla vodka, and heavy whipping cream in a glass. Serve and enjoy!

*Featured martinis glass rims are dipped in marshmallow fluff and then rolled in crushed candy cane.
