Fudgy Brownies with Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Fudgy Brownies with Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting, August 14, 2023.
There is nothing so comforting as a good brownie. Chewy, soft, dense, chocolatey- where to begin on its many virtues? The humble brownie is a beloved treat that brightens many a day. And there are some days when you just need a brownie. They have the power to soothe and comfort when life feels tempestuous or just blah. Or sometimes you are just craving chocolate in a big way, and taking a big bite of that baked, moist chocolate fills the mouth with both joy and relief. No matter the reason, the brownie always delivers.

I have tried many, many brownie recipes, but have found that for me, the Hershey’s classic brownie recipe is still the best. It encompasses everything a brownie should be. They never fail to turn out moist and chewy. Hershey’s brownie recipe also makes a good base for jazzing up your brownie with different icings and toppings, such as today’s Fudgy Brownies with Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting. Chocolate and peanut butter lovers will like this easy recipe.

These are decadent and delicious. Have a great big one. Or maybe you are like me and tend to cut little slivers because it doesn’t count as having a whole brownie? Either way, these are good. The original Hershey’s recipe, which these are adapted from, can be found here.

And the peanut butter frosting is so delicious and fluffy! It pairs perfectly with these brownies! The frosting layer is thick, and the recipe does make a lot of frosting, so if you want less, reduce the frosting ingredients proportionately.
